For my bachelorette party, Angie and the bridesmaids planned a really wonderful weekend for me in San Francisco. Angie, John and I arrived on Thursday morning so we could spend a little more time together before the other ladies arrived from New York, Chicago and San Francisco. Laura even upgraded me on the flight from New York to San Francisco so the flight there was really wonderful (with breakfast, lunch and so many snacks!) Our flights arrived about an hour apart and I met up with John and Angie while they were waiting for the rental car, so the timing worked out well. As soon as we got into the car, we found the first In-N-Out we could find (right next to the airport!) and ordered animal style cheeseburgers, a strawberry shake, and fries:

John arranged for us to stay in San Francisco and Angie made a dinner reservation for us at The Inn at Meadowood:

The Inn at Meadowood is a beautiful resort with a very lush golf course and a newly remodeled restaurant. One of the reasons I wanted to dine there is because it’s the only other Michelin three-star restaurant in California (The French Laundry is the other). I wanted to see what it was like so Angie and John agreed to dine there with me:

We had a really fun dinner there and then drove back to San Francisco afterwards to spend the night together in the city! On Friday morning, we walked to the Ferry Building, got coffee at Blue Bottle, then walked to Tartine Bakery, which was a 4 mile walk (but we needed it because we ordered one of everything when we got there!) After our breakfast adventure, we met up with all of the other girls at Teresa’s apartment and then drove to Oxbow market to pick up cheese and cupcakes for the weekend:

Oxbow has a lot of different vendors and restaurants and an outdoor seating area, too:

We bought a bunch of cupcakes from Kara’s Cupcakes:

And then settled into our amazing bed and breakfast that David and Laura recommended, the Oleander. This week: more photos from our dinner at Meadowood, breakfast at Tartine, bachelorette pictures and more!
