For me, it was a trip down memory lane since me and my husband had somehow gotten reservations to The French Laundry also through Open Table. I was so star struck when I was there that I was too scared to ask to see the kitchen, can you believe it???? But I'm glad you got to see it. This is definitely an experience of a lifetime and thank you so much for bringing back such good memories for me. I am so glad I stumbled onto this blog - keep up the great posts! It is about a waitress (Phoebe, the author) that lands a job at Per Se and all the goings on at the restaurant and in her life....I read the book in 2 days it was that great.
